They are the citizens of tomorrow, those who will become the decision-makers, managers, politicians and professionals shaping society in the next decades. That\u2019s why it is a necessity to prepare them for the incoming challenges.<\/p><p>However, they are already aware of the issues, as many of them have been living with a feeling of emergency for most of their young lives. According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/eeb.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/IPSOS-Multi-Country-Report-complete.FINAL_.pdf\">survey<\/a> by OECD, half of young Europeans consider climate change to be among the most serious problems facing the world. But how many of them are actually environmentally literate? Statistics show that the number of young people familiar with the topics of sustainability and climate change varies across European countries. This is what the Save &amp; Game project aims to achieve. We aim to trigger in new generations responsible behaviours towards the use of energy and resources in all their forms. We will use gamification to raise awareness of energy efficiency among young people and will provide the trainers and youth workers with a series of tools to connect and play with. The goal of the Escape Games is to make young people reflect on the most sustainable choices and habits, challenge their peers to promote continuous improvement in the approach to their consumption and understand the global benefits of more sustainable consumption and lifestyles at the local level. In this way, the project will help to make young people spokespersons for sustainability in their communities by demonstrating how sustainability can generate well-being.<\/p><p>All materials will be tested by youth workers and young people.
